NDIS pricing updates for 2025-26: what participants need to know

The NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (formerly the NDIS Price Guide) are updated each financial year by the National Disability Insurance Agency. The 2025-26 updates include changes to support item prices, new line items and updated claiming rules across a number of support categories.

Here's what you need to know as a participant or family member.

What are the NDIS Pricing Arrangements?

The NDIS Pricing Arrangements set the maximum prices that registered NDIS providers can charge for supports. They apply to agency-managed and plan-managed participants. If you are self-managed, you have more flexibility in what you pay, but the pricing arrangements are still a useful benchmark.

Key changes for 2025-26

  • Indexation increases have been applied to most support categories to reflect changes in the cost of care.

  • New line items have been introduced for certain community nursing and therapy supports.

  • Cancellation and no-show policies have been updated - providers can claim for short-notice cancellations in specific circumstances.

  • Travel and transport claiming rules have been clarified for both participants and providers.

What does this mean for your plan?

If your plan was approved before the new pricing arrangements came into effect, you may find that your existing budget covers slightly fewer hours of support at the new rates. It is worth reviewing your plan with your support coordinator or plan manager to ensure your funding still meets your needs.
